As part of the regulatory impact assessment procedure, the Department of Sanitary, Phytosanitary, and Veterinary Measures of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has submitted for review a draft EEC Board Decision "On Amending Chapter 36 of the Uniform Veterinary (Veterinary and Sanitary) Requirements for Goods Subject to Veterinary Control (Supervision)." 

At the request of the Association of European Businesses (AEB), clarifications regarding the import of goods restricted in accordance with Resolution No. 808 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated December 31, 2025, "On the Application of a Special Restrictive Measure" have been sent by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.

The AEB's comments have been incorporated into this draft law and are planned for consideration as part of the amendments to Law No. 90-Z of the Republic of Belarus "On the Protection of Consumer Rights" of January 9, 2002.

The Association proposed adding the following words to Clause 3 of Article 9(1) "Processing Personal Data Using Technical Means for Video and Audio Recording".

The Resolution prohibits the import and sale of goods originating from unfriendly countries, as listed in Appendix 1 to the Resolution, into the Republic of Belarus.
