Customs Authorities Meet Business and Welcome Questions

The Association of European Businesses and the State Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Customs Bodies of the Republic of Belarus held the workshop on customs regulations on November 20, 2014.

Olga Makarevich, acting head of the customs department, and Inna Gramyka, senior lecturer at the customs department with the State Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Customs Bodies of the Republic of Belarus met with member companies of the AEB and clarified in detail practical aspects of customs procedures in the Customs Union, monitoring and verification of customs value for imported goods, and non-tariff measures in the Customs Union.

Due to the fact that all parties were unanimous about the practical benefits of the workshop, the Association of European Businesses will continue organizing joint events with the Institute to improve understanding of the requirements to doing business in Belarus among the foreign companies working in Belarus.
