Meeting with OECD representatives

On April 2, 2019, a meeting with representatives of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) was held at the AEB office. The organization is a forum where governments can exchange their experiences in resolving political problems, get answers to common questions, learn about the positive experiences of other countries and coordinate their national and foreign policies.

During the meeting, the strategy of attracting FDI to Belarus was discussed: in particular, the question of what it needs to be made more realistic is to choose the most important sectors of the economy and create a preferential regime there to attract investors. If the strategy is aimed not only for internal use, but also for foreign investors, then it must be translated into foreign languages ​​and made available for study.
