The EEC supported the position of the AEB regarding Resolution of the Committee on Standardization No. 33

In response to the AEB’s position on the issue of recognizing Gosstandart Resolution No. 33 as a barrier in the internal market of the EAEU, the Association received a letter from the EEC containing gratitude for sending information and indicating a delay in the entry into force of the Resolution until January 1, 2025. Resolution of the State Standard of May 4, 2023 No. 33 “On the requirements for determining the quantity of packaged goods” establishes excessive requirements in relation to the law of the EAEU, which do not comply with the provisions of the Treaty on the EAEU.
