AEB proposals to the draft decision of the EAEU Council regarding the rules for determining the origin of goods

The Association of European Business sent proposals to the EAEU Trade Policy Department to adjust the draft decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission “On amendments to the Rules for determining the origin of goods imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (non-preferential rules for determining the origin of goods).” In order to avoid double interpretation of the provisions of the decision, it is proposed to supplement it with a paragraph: “If the actual net weight of the goods is less than the net weight indicated in the document on the origin of the goods, the origin of the goods is considered confirmed in relation to the actual net weight of the goods.”
