Organization of a business breakfast "ESG in Belarus: cases, strategies, ratings"

On March 16, 2023, the consulting company ASER and the rating agency BIK Ratings, with the support of the Association of European Business, are organizing a business breakfast "ESG in Belarus: cases, strategies, ratings".

The event will discuss the present and future of the ESG market in Belarus, the speakers will share what has already been done in the ESG arena in our country.

Key questions to be considered during the breakfast:

• cases of Belarusian companies and banks on the implementation of ESG strategies;
• what gives ESG to the Belarusian business;
• how the principles of sustainable development work in communication projects;
• ESG ratings: methodology and first cases, etc.

The director of the consulting company ASER notes the growing interest in the ESG topic both from the side of the Belarusian business, and the state. The national plan for the development of the green economy is starting to work, the adoption of a taxonomy resolution and the creation of a green finance institution are expected this year, and BIK Ratings is actively assigning ESG ratings to Belarusian companies.”
