AEB sent proposals to the plan of meetings of the PAC under the Ministry of Economy for 2024

The Association of European Business, as part of its work as part of the PAC under the Ministry of Economy, sent proposals in the council’s work plan for 2024. The Association proposed to consider a number of contradictions between national legislation and the norms of the EAEU, etc.

In particular, it was proposed to consider the issue of eliminating the conflict of provisions of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus dated 04.05.2023 N 33 “On the requirements for determining the quantity of packaged goods” with the provision of paragraph 2 of paragraph 2 of Article 53 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, which does not allow the establishment by member states additional requirements for products in relation to those contained in the EAEU acts.
