AEB proposals taken into account when preparing draft amendments to Resolution of the Standardization Committee No. 33

The State Standardization Committee of the Republic of Belarus has submitted for public discussion a draft resolution On Amendment of the Resolution of the State Standardization Committee of the Republic of Belarus dated May 4, 2023 No. 33 on Establishing Requirements for Determining the Quantity of Packaged Goods. As a result of the AEB actions, a provision was included in the draft amendments stipulating that Resolution No. 33 does not apply to products subject to the regulation of the Customs Union or the EAEU, as well as for which the requirements for labeling the quantity of packaged goods are defined by other regulatory legal acts and technical regulations.
